As I approach 60 years of age, I reflect on the wonderful times I’ve shared with my friends. From meaningful conversations to extraordinary travels, each friendship has enriched me in more ways than one. As the saying goes, good friends are hard to find, which is why my album pays tribute to those who, over the years, afforded me wholesome memories...

 

Tried-and-true friendships are impossible to forget because they mean so much. When I haven’t seen my friend in a while, they go out of their way to see how I am. When I need them most, they’re there for me through thick and thin. And no matter what, they genuinely want the very best for me. In some ways, close friends are an extension of family.

My friends and I bond over interests that open our eyes to new adventures. Together, we’ve travelled the four corners of the globe exploring a spectrum of hobbies as we share philosophical ideas that better our lives. Some of these include deep sea diving, hiking, skiing in fresh powder, playing golf, cycling, dining on exotic cuisines, wine-tasting, driving classic cars, and of course, singing.

 

Singing has become an essential part of my life. Each album I record tells a story, and what makes this album so unique is it’s given me the opportunity to collaborate with my musical friends. Together, these talented singers and musicians complete the soul of this album.

 

To those of you who call me your friend, I am grateful to you. Thank you for the precious good times and thank you for the laughs. This album is for all you wonderful friends. Cheers!
